The Biological Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility at Iowa State University

The Biological Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility (BNMRF) is housed in the Molecular Biology Building at Iowa State University and is focused on supporting research endeavors of both internal and external users. Our goal is to provide exceptional NMR service to the biomolecular research and chemistry communities.

BNMRF houses high-field (600-800 MHz) solution-solid state NMR instruments and a high pressure system capable of running a large range of experiments applicable for various scientific fields. Additionally, expert NMR staff at BNMRF are available to assist researchers in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis.

BNMRF is co-managed by two PhD staff scientist, Dr. Bruce Fulton and Dr. Jeff Purslow, both who have extensive experience in biological NMR sample preparation and experimental design. Please contact us with any question, project ideas, or NMR instrument needs.
