Biological Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility (BNMRF)
Advancing Biomolecular Research through Cutting-Edge NMR Technology
The Biological Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility (BNMRF), located in the Molecular Biology Building at Iowa State University, supports a wide range of research initiatives for both internal and external users. Our mission is to provide high-quality NMR services to the biomolecular and chemistry research communities.
BNMRF is equipped with advanced high-field solution and solid-state NMR instruments (700–800 MHz), as well as a high-pressure system capable of supporting a diverse array of experimental applications across scientific disciplines.
Our expert staff offers comprehensive support in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis to help researchers maximize the value of their NMR studies.
The facility is co-managed by Dr. Bruce Fulton and Dr. Jeff Purslow, both PhD-level scientists with extensive experience in biological NMR, including sample preparation and experimental development.
We invite inquiries about research collaborations, project support, or instrument access. Please feel free to contact us with your questions or ideas.
